Size

There are no particular industry standards when it comes to lit signs. Each city or county has different ordinance requirements. What are listed here are a number of more common sizes but we can cut these signs to any size. Call us at 805 – 904 – 6700 or email us at Sales @ SignStarShop.com to discuss. The sizes listed are for the sign face inserts, not the usable graphic area! Light boxes usually have a 1.5″ to 2″ lip which holds the sign face in place and anything under this lip cannot be seen by passersby.

Design

Most illuminated signs feature the company logo and tag line which means these are all done “to order”. You can either send us the files that you want to use and we’ll create your sign faces (see the Artwork Requirements page for details) or you can send us ready-to-use artwork.

Materials

These are the sign faces only and assumes a lighted box of some form is already installed, just waiting for YOUR sign face. Some boxes are wall mounted, so only one sign face is needed (single sided). Some boxes are pole mounted and can be seen coming and going, so two separate sign faces are needed (double sided). Regardless of quantity, all our backlit signs include a UV proctectant to help unsure the longest, most beautiful life possible even in the face of all the elements it has to endure.
